Quick and healthy rice filled with the flavors of fenugreek leaves and spices. Bring the authentic taste of Methi Pulao into your kitchen with 2 tbsp of our Methi Pulao Masala. It is made with natural ingredients pounded together and backed by culinary expertise.
Instructions:
- Heat 1 tbsp (15ml) ghee (clarified butter) or oil in a pressure cooker, saucepan or instant pot. Saute onions and vegetables (optional) in ghee until golden brown.
- Add green peas (50g) and potato (50g) along with 2 tbsp (20g) Methi Pulao Masala and saute for 1 minute.
- Add 1 cup (200g) of washed basmati rice and fry for 1 minute.
- Add 2 cups (500ml) of water or vegetable stock and 1- 2 tsp salt to taste. Boil for 10-15 minutes until rice is done or pressure cook for 2 whistles.
- Garnish with fried onions, cashew nuts, and raisins, and serve hot.
- Pairs perfectly with Yogurt or Greek Yogurt (traditional serving suggestion).
